We want to run a festival and competition to give local people with disabilities the chance to prove their dancing skills.
About this cause
We are a charity designed to engage and enable disabled individuals and the community around them to be active through dance, this covers a wide variety of dance styles and supporting individuals to start up there own group. We believe no matter who you are you should be given the opportunity to be active through dance be it for fun, sport or creative purposes.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This event is a showcase of what people with disabilities can achieve and enables the community to come together in a fun, competitive or recreational format. Seeing others perform may also inspire those who have previously felt inhibited, and encourage them to get involved. Plus it will enable groups that may not have come out before to do something.
