St. Mary's C of E School Prestwich
Health
We want to purchase a community defibrillator, which will be placed on the national defibrillator database, and provide associated training.
About this cause
We are a Church of England aided Primary School located in the heart of Prestwich. We are rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. Our aims are to: Deliver an inspiring, stimulating and challenging curriculum Teach children in an enthusiastic and passionate way Engage and excite every single child to learn as much as they can Provide opportunities to develop and encourage children's independence Recognise and nurture the needs, strengths and talents of every single child Show children how to respect each other and those around them Prepare children for their life beyond St. Mary's Primary School Develop children as active international, national and local citizens, who celebrate and respect different cultures, faiths and ways of life, as well as reflecting on Christian values.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This project is being run by St. Mary's School Parent Partnership, which brings together parents and teachers to work on school policies together, and carry out fundraising for school. We also involve the local community by requesting prize donations and making our events open to all. The defibrillator, once purchased, will be placed on the National Database for use by anyone who needs it.
