We want to put on a free community Christmas Fair in our village of Cudworth, with a free Santa's Grotto and community activities.
About this cause
Cudworth Businesses & Community Together’s mission is: “To make Cudworth a better place to live, work and prosper”. Working with the community to create a better Cudworth. We want to create harmony between all members of the community. Linking local businesses, schools, groups, clubs and residents to participate in programs and events that create and enhance the feeling of community. To make improvements to the village in a bid to entice more shoppers and visitors onto our village’s wonderful high street, to promote local clubs/groups and to most of all raise community spirit. We plan to cover issues such as free community events, parking, anti-social behaviour, crime, local marketing and much more.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This will be our 3rd Christmas Fair which we put on to build links between all members of the community, encouraging community spirit & pride. We're looking to engage with our younger residents/parents and children by giving them an event that many in our village would not be able to afford to attend. We struggle with anti-social behaviour and need to build early connections and trust in Cudworth.
