About this cause
4Sight Vision Support aims to make a positive difference to the lives of people living with sight loss in West Sussex, by providing support and advise to improve their quality of life. Those who are sight impaired frequently find themselves presented with barriers to work, education, travel and leisure. Our multidisciplinary approach supports both the mental and physical welfare of people with a visual impairment as well as working to educate about eye health and reducing further chances of sight deterioration as a preventative measure. We run clubs and events to reduce the risk of isolation and help people continue to be active members of our society. Our objective is to make a positive difference in the lives of people living with sight loss in West Sussex.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It helps those with visual impairments by reducing the risk of isolation and helping them to live more independently, meaning they can continue being active members of society. It also helps their family members or carers, as their eye health should not deteriorate as quickly.
