We want to run a children's Science and Technology Club, teaching coding and programming and exploring the potential of new technology.
About this cause
Cambourne Crescent is a local Islamic Charitable Trust established in 2011. It is registered with the Charity Commission under Registration Number: 1174750. The Trust is managed by a group of volunteers who are practising professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds. Cambourne Crescent was established to fulfill the social and spiritual needs of families living in and around Cambourne Village and to engage with and actively contribute and participate in the wider community of Cambourne.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This project is open to all kids and teenagers in Cambourne aged 8 to 17. It will teach the children how to work together and cooperate to achieve a common goal. They will learn that by collaborating and applying their intelligence and strength they can accomplish goals they couldn't reach working in isolation. They will learn how to share knowledge freely, learn from one another and share tasks.
