About this cause

Help/Support local people. Furniture Shed/Charity Shop (donations/re-sales); Youthlink (aged 9-19 years); Rainbow Club (aged 18+ with learning disabilities); Senior Clubs (lunch/activities/outings); Community IT Suite (help with computer skills, assisted search for jobs/trainings/volunteering). Aim to consult with people, encourage them to identify & address needs of Community; provide opportunities; develop skills/experience; improve self & community pride; working with other agencies; expanding provision. Through services & volunteering we improve interaction, attitudes, aspirations, work ethic, confidence, self-esteem, quality of life, social well-being to those disadvantaged in the high deprivation area of Bentilee. We enable new, improved, different life choices, break down barriers.

In the heart of the community, through wide reaching essential services we increase aspirations, quality of life, self & community pride. Empower people by consultation/local forums, working together to identify & address needs & develop skills/experience. Volunteering improves interaction, attitudes, work ethic, confidence, self-esteem, for people disadvantaged in an area of high deprivation.
