Forward Facing is a registered charity that provides creative and fun activities for children and young people with long term or life limiting conditions or who have experienced bereavement; including their siblings and wider family. We aim to give children and young people with long term or life threatening conditions, or have experienced bereavement a chance to transform themselves; to forget their daily struggles, have fun, express their personalities and make lasting memories for them and their families as unfortunately some of our family's futures are uncertain. We support the siblings as they suffer too when living with illness in the family. We listen to our family's needs and try our hardest to bring some happiness to their lives.
Our Project is very community based all our Volunteers are from the local area, the children all come from local hospices and the oncology ward at the royal Alex. We have nurses who volunteer and our charity ambassadors are parents of our children so we all work together to make ever event a success. Please come and see this years MMday on April 9th at Brighton Dome so you can see what we do.
