About this cause
The Fourth Reserve aims to safeguard the natural heritage of South East London's New Cross to Forest Hill railway cutting and create opportunities for the community to enjoy the corridor and surrounding area through connecting with nature and with the area's wonderful history. We provide inclusive projects enabling local groups to enjoy nature and improve their well-being. We particularly support groups such as school and youth groups who have limited opportunities to access nature. We help a broad range of people in our local area through different activities that elevate the importance of our green spaces and historical landmarks. This work facilitates a connection between the past and the present, the city and the natural environment and safeguards our community heritage.
How this cause brings people in the community together
