We want to purchase expedition equipment, such as tents, waterproofs and camp cooking, and hire a minibus to travel to an event.

About this cause

The Boys' Brigade(BB) provides a balanced programme of activities for children and young people from 5 to 18 years old. These resources have been developed to help volunteer youth leaders work in a relevant and creative way. We hope through these programmes they will be able to make a positive contribution to a young person's life. We have 3 age groups :Anchor Section (5 to 8 year olds), Junior Section (8 to 11 year olds), Company Section: (11 to 18 year olds). We currently have 70 young boys as members with 15 leaders. Our sole income is members paying "subs"

How this cause brings people in the community together

Boys will be able to use these opportunities to enjoy the countryside, work toward awards and potentially gain higher awards like the Duke of Edinburgh Award. The events will provide a rich activities to support the Boys Brigade Programme.
