We want to change a door and add a ramp at our cottage so that a wheelchair can get into the building.
About this cause
Aim to encompass anyone in the area with a chance to meet, make friends and enjoy trips out that they would otherwise not have an opportunity to do. We meet every Tuesday with tea/coffee and home made cakes. We have been running successfully for 8 years with growing numbers. We organise trips about every 3 months, support those that are bereaved, lonely or disabled. We are staffed wholly by volunteers.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It will enable more elderly and disabled people and their careers a chance to enjoy our facility.
