Wirral Animal Sanctuary Hedgehog Rescue Centre
Animal Welfare
We want to buy some incubators for our hogglets used in their daily care.
About this cause
We at Wirral Animal Sanctuary rescue and re-home unwanted or stray domestic pets and animals. Our objectives are to address all of the animals needs both medically and behaviourally, where applicable, and match those animals with a fitting and loving new home. We also have a Hedgehog Rescue and rehabilitation centre where we take in sick and injured hedgehogs. Again, we care for the animals medical needs and then co ordinate a release for a safe return into the wild. We offer a varied amount of volunteer positions to students, vulnerable adults and their support workers and the general public. We do public talks and informational talks at schools and events educating the community on wildlife, the importance of rescue, re-homing and animal welfare.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We can offer our community some fantastic and rewarding volunteer positions and we can educate the community on wildlife, the importance of rescue re-homing and animal welfare. We have many positions available and are insured from 16 years of age on site at our rescue centre.
