We would like to provide an array of activities such as arts and crafts, drama, music and free food for children aged 7-10.
About this cause
Provides foodbank support services across 26 foodbanks in County Durham for local people in crisis. The charity also supports holiday hunger and activities for young people during school holidays. The foodbanks provide food, fuel vouchers and signposting activities to support people in crisis.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This will help support families and young children who have been identified as being in need of extra care to help the family develop skills to deal with their crisis at this time. Families and individuals will also have access to the Murton foodbank which operates on Saturday mornings.
