We want to provide a Mobility WC and build a new office to enhance the use of our building.
About this cause
The Victoria Institute plays host to many activities,form a a Dance school to a Community Link Cafe`, Women`s Institute to Tai Chi and Badminton Groups. Our aim is to be inclusive,encouraging all members of the local community to become actively involved in local groups and projects and to use our facilities to the fullest extent.We aim to be open and accessible to everyone who wishes to take part,drawing the community together with all the associated benefits,which that brings.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This adaption will aid the less able to have full access in all areas of the building, which makes for social inclusion to our community. By enhancing the facilities to an old building it makes it a more comfortable and welcoming place for us all. Our existing office is a small but social hub that opens twice a week and its a social interactive lifeline for our small community.
