We want to buy six tents to allow children to experience outdoor camp activities and adventures.
About this cause
We have over 70 children across three groups of age range 6– 4. Our aim is to allow these children to access local activities which allow them to explore their community, access new experiences and be creative. We aim to increase their confidence, generating opportunities for growth and adventure, to foster social interactions and team working spirit, alongside creating opportunities for self development, growth and stretch. Our group Children are amazing and to have the opportunity to access experiences which they may not be able to within their family, which is invaluable. Our group aims to provide extra life skills, fun times, activities and overall a sense of community and team spirit.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Provide activities for local children aged from 10-14 and upwards to 18 (through explorer scouts) to access outdoor activities and interests. This will keep the children engaged and thus not hanging around in their local community, ensuring good behaviour and respect for local community and people. They will see the benefit of being in the group and keep attendance through engaging activities.
