We want to buy paint and asphalt one floor to make our building more appealing to visitors.
About this cause
The Institute is a community building left to the residents of Heysham by the Royds family. It is used by various groups for Yoga, Pilates and table tennis. There is also a snooker room. It caters for children's parties and other celebrations and any public and community events.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The building will become more inviting to users and be used more frequently by the local community. We have just refurbished the aged toilets and now have full disabled and baby changing facilities. By rejuvenating the decor we hope the building will regain its former appeal.
