About this cause
1st Yelverton Brownies are part of Girguiding UK. Brownies are for 7-10yr old girls from all walks of life. We encourage trying new things to help teach girls and young women about themselves, their community and the world. All leaders are volunteers as well as the teenage Young Leaders, many of whom were once Brownies themselves.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our Brownies come from all over the community and many parents and other relatives have fond memories of being in GirlGuiding. It brings people together and creates bonds of friendship and community passion that lasts a lifetime.
