We want to buy a canopy to cover the outdoor play area for our infants to allow 'free flow' play all year round.
About this cause
The Friends of Walton on the Hill Primary School are a very active Parent Teacher Association, raising funds to provide some wonderful 'extras' which enhance the experience the children enjoy while at our school. In the current financial climate, its increasingly hard to obtain funding for smaller schools. Our village school is much loved, has a fabulous community spirit and we all pull together to try where we can make up for any funding shortfall.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our school is an integral part of a close knit village community. The children are taught the importance of being responsible members of the community and ensure the future of our village. Funding is increasingly hard to obtain for smaller schools and there is a real risk to our future and the heart of our much loved village. Maximising our space and investing in our children is our future.
