We need a dementia improvement reminiscence software touchscreen, designed specifically for people living with dementia.
About this cause
We support older people, aged 50 plus, living in Medway. We have two social clubs and two specialist dementia day centres. We provide support to people living in their own home. We have free services to help people claim the benefits they are entitled to and a volunteer run befriending service for older people, reducing lonliness and social isolation. We have four COGS groups throughout Medway which provide Cognitive Stinulation Therapy (CST) for people with memory/early stage dementia. Despite have a large income (turnover), last year we made a deficit.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Capstone Dementia Day Centre staff are all committed in providing quality care and we believe this product will help in that. It enables creation of personalised life history for each client, informs, personalised collages where each client can upload the pictures, record voice samples of their relatives in order to offer reassurance if experiencing separation anxiety while in a centre.
