We want to finish the refurbishment of our headquarters to make it a more comfortable and better equipped environment for our young members.
About this cause
Provides Scout training for young people between the ages of 6 and 14 based on practical skills, adventure and outside activities. We have approximately 130 members. We are also hosts for an Explorer Scout unit providing similar opportinities for 14 to 18 year olds.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By providing the opportunity for as many young people as possible to receive the training referred to above. We are also a fundraiser for the local RNLI and last year donated over £2000 to them from our christmas collection.
