We'd like to build toilet facilities as there are none at present and upgrade all of the food bank interior.
About this cause
Principally the provision of food to individuals and families in need.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The building becomes much more user friendly, visitors and staff are properly cared for. Foodbank at present only opens for food, people may stay longer to discuss their problems and get more support if we had facilities. Alcoholics Anonymous also use the building. At Foodbank we would also like to have a drop-in facility to just offer tea and a chat for those in difficulty, helping the community.
