We want to buy a mini-bus for our unit to take our kids to local and UK events.
About this cause
We are a self supporting Sea and Marine Cadets organisation and we deliver varied activities for our cadets in the classroom. We also take them to various camps all over the UK. We teach them good life skills like boating and various outdoor activities. We were recently involved in the Grangemouth Armed Forces Day and all our kids were involved in the parade. We also attend local children's gala's in the area to encourage more young recruits to join up and keep them off the streets. We also do back packing in various stores to get funds as we are trying to raise money to buy a mini bus as we currently rely on parents and committee members to use our own cars to take the kids to various events.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By generous sponsorship this would allow us to deliver more outdoor activities and attend more events that would include all our cadets.
