Boring Wells - St. Christopher's Larder

We want to feed the community by growing food in our allotments. We also need to buy a printer.
About this cause
At St. Christopher's, we run a Food Bank for the local Community and have an allotment to grow vegetables for the Larder, and for the community. We are trying to feed families who are Facing emergencies and crises. Since 3/1/17 to 11/8/17 we have served: Clients: 1007; Adult: 1013; Child: 607; Total: 2095. This requires a fair amount of food, Food donations have come from Individuals; Churches, and Businesses (Tesco's / Co-op; Sainsbury's, etc.
How this cause brings people in the community together
As a food bank, we are supporting families who cannot support themselves with food, this includes children as well as adults. The Food bank is a Hub for support, people come into the Larder have a coffee or tea, and a chat, they also get food to get them through the immediate emergency. we also help with growing food for the community and invite people in St. Christopher's for support.
