About this cause

We are a small scout group in Timperley offering fantastic experiences and development to the young people of Timperley. Scouting takes place when young people, in partnership with adults, work together based on the values of Scouting and: - enjoy what they are doing and have fun - take part in activities indoors and outdoors - learn by doing - share in spiritual reflection - take responsibility and make choices - undertake new and challenging activities - make and live by their Promise. We are fundraising to allow us to improve our Scout Hut to provide a better environment for our Scouts and also the local community groups who use the facility, and also to update and repair our aging camping equipment.

How this cause brings people in the community together

The building is hired by many local community groups, unfortunately due to the state of repair it is unsuitable for many to use currently. Repairing the flooring, toilets etc will mean we can once again provide a low cost useable space for these groups.
