We would like to update our facilities at The Haven Centre, updating the furniture to make it more comfortable.
About this cause
The Haven Centre is run by Crawley Down Community Centre Association and is self funding Community Centre based in Crawley Down. We work with various groups, clubs and organisations providing facilities for the local community. We do our best to provide a range of activities and facilities for all ages from toddler group to exercise classes for the older person. Our centre is dated and tired looking and we are currently trying to update our facilities for the community and looking to purchase new furniture and equipment to make it more comfortable and modern for those who use it.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The clubs and groups use the balcony as a place to meet, and charities use it for afternoon tea or morning coffee fundraising events but the chairs and tables in that area are old and uncomfortable, we would like to update the balcony to make it a safe, comfortable environment for all ages to use.
