About this cause
Happy Days Animal Rescue helps all members of the community by re-homing animals, mainly dogs and cats, taking them into a place of safety and security when they are in trouble and then re-homing them with a well matched family whose life can be enriched with their new companion. We ensure that the right pet is placed in the right home by meeting with the prospective owner and helping them to choose the right rescue animal for their situation. We are particularly proud of our re-homing of pets with elderly members of the community who come to us as they are often turned down by the larger rescues because of their age. We ensure that they get the right dog for themselves. The Manager and members of our team go out into the community to events to give talks about our rescue and animal care.

In taking a pet into rescue, we relieve the stress from within a family situation. Similarly, many people are desperate to find the right pet to share their lives with. We ensure the right pet goes to the right home to ensure that all parties get the most out of the re-homing process and that both the pet and the family end up with a better quality of life as a result.
