We wish to take the boys away on an outdoor activities week-end.
About this cause
We have two sections in our Company, Anchor Boys aged 5 - 8 years and Junior Boys aged 8 - 11 years. We provide the opportunity for them to meet together and engage in a range of fun and development activities giving them decision making opportunities appropriate to their age and aptitude. They are encouraged to engage with the needs of others locally, nationally and globally and to participate in projects in which they can make a difference.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It is important that our small community meet and learn together and this allows boys of primary school age to so do. We have a number of boys from single parent families and also families with more than two boys as members. The cost of participating in any external activities can be prohibitive and we endeavour to ensure that no boy is excluded due to domestic circumstances.
