We want the opportunity to be able to take all of the 24 Brownies on a sleepover to Legoland/Sealife centre.
About this cause
Brownies are for girls aged 7-10. It's an adventurous journey that girls take with their friends as they discover the world together. The girls have incredible experiences together making new friends, learning new skill and taking on new challenges . We meet weekly to work on badges, play games, make crafts and also try adventurous activities, attending special events, day trips, sleepovers, camps and holidays. We work together to explore the girls place within the local community and the world around them. We aim to assist the girls with new skills and challenges as they work out what the want to be and do in the future.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Being in a deprived area, this would allow all of our members to attend without the worry of having to fund the trip for the children. Over the years we have had to consider costs when arranging trips and this has deterred many of our members from attending. This would be a fantastic opportunity for all of our children to enjoy a special night away in fantastic surroundings.
