We want to build a new mountain rescue base to create a better training and rescue service.
About this cause
Voluntary Mountain Rescue Team that covers the south-east of Scotland, including the Lammermuir and Cheviot hill ranges. We are actively fundraising for a new team base in Kelso where we can store kit and vehicles and further our training programme. All members of the team are volunteers who live and work in the local community. We are on call to provide emergency assistance 24/7/365. We need to build a new base, this will allow better training, and response times. number are affected by incident numbers per year. this year, so far it is over 25 people directly helped.

Better training area, quicker more efficient response to incidents, able to run incidents from our base Allow much better cleaning up after incidents.
