We want to purchase new furniture and equipment for the children who attend our playgroup to put into their 'Role Play' area.
About this cause
St. Gwynan's Playgroup is a non-profit-making pre-school setting, operating from a purpose built unit at Ysgol Capelulo. Although we are situated within Ysgol Capelulo with whom we share a good working relationship, we are in fact a separate charity organisation who relies on fees, fundraising, donations and grants to survive. We are not government funded. St. Gwynan's Playgroup is managed by a voluntary committee. Many of whom, include the parents & carers of the children currently attending our Playgroup. We offer nursery care and education for children between the ages of 2.5 years to 4+ years. We have a group of dedicated staff , who care for the children and aim to give them the best possible start to their journey with the Foundation Phase curriculum.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The project will help us to continue to offer children from our local community high quality day care that enhances the development, care & education of preschool children in a safe & stimulating environment - so they learn through play in partnership with parents/carers. We welcome parents/carers who want to be involved in activities of the provision & provide opportunities to do so.
