We want to buy instruments to enable children to learn and practice brass band music with a view to joining a youth brass band.
About this cause
The organisation enables members of the Usk community, particularly children, to learn to play brass instruments and provides the opportunity to play Brass instruments. We also advance the education and appreciation of the public in the art and science of brass band music. Currently we wish to encourage children learning brass band music and need to replace our junior instruments to be able to do this.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The project helps children of all ages to become interested in music, how to engage with others, how to provide a service voluntarily for your local community and beyond. It gives children an opportunity to engage with each other in a supportive and fun environment. This in turn helps the community on every level.
