We want to replace the dilapidated and dangerous climbing trail with a new safe and age-appropriate climb challenge for our older pupils.
About this cause
Friends of Tollcross Primary was established by parents in 2016 with the main objective of overhauling the school playground for the health and wellbeing of the children of the Tollcross area.
How this cause brings people in the community together
The playgroud is used by the school, the Community Centre and many children and families after school and on the weekends. The majority of local families do not have access to a private garden and the playground provides essential space for the children to run, explore and be children. We have calculated around 3-400 children currently use the space on a regular basis.
