We need to build a replacement scout hut. This will allow us to continue to run scouting activities for children of all ages in our area.
About this cause
The 1st Torbay (St.Marychurch) Scout Group is the oldest scout group in Torbay. We run sections for children and young persons from 6 to 18 years of age. We provide a balanced programme of activities, events and experiences on a weekly basis. We offer hundreds of activities including kayaking, abseiling, stage performances, climbing and archery, plus many many more. There is something for every young person, whatever their background or ability.
How this cause brings people in the community together
We offer 100's of activities to children of all ages in our community which is often the on,y chance they have to do activities away from the local area to help them learn.
