We need funds to upgrade our entrance hallway carpets, decoration and the purchase of stage lighting.
About this cause
The Association trustees manage the village hall and keep it viable for the use of community. The hall needs to be self financing and so the management committee oversee the hiring of the hall, manage the finances, keep abreast of legal obligations and make sure the hall is kept clean , secure and provides a facility in the interests to the benefit of the local and surrounding community. The hall is used every day of the week by wide and diverse groups. For example a Sequence Dance group, Parent and Toddler Group, 50+ Club, Martial Arts, Monthly Open Mic, Zumba class , Carpet Bowls group, a monthly Supper Dance., History Group, Parish Council Meetings.The hall is also frequently privately hired for many functions e.g. Weddings, Christenings, Funeral teas, Anniversary parties etc.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Enhance the village hall facility which is used by numerous groups plus it would also improve the ability to attract new hires and thereby increase the hall's revenue. Which in turn would benefit the groups using the hall.
