We would like to update our tents and camping equipment and make camping and outdoor adventures more enjoyable for our members.
About this cause
Helping young people between the ages of 6 and 18 to experience the outdoors, through unique and everyday adventure, interact with others, have a positive impact in the community and to reach their full potential. Scouting helps children and young adults to develop skills such as teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self motivation, cultural awareness and commitment.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Our 70 members are all from the local and surrounding community. The project itself will benefit these youngsters by contributing to the overall Scouting Experience and ethos. This in turn benefits the surrounding communities by helping the youngsters to follow their dreams, look out for those around them and have a greater understanding of themselves and others.
