We want to buy camp kit so we can take girls away on educational and inspiring residential trips.
About this cause
We provide a place for girls ages 10-14 to learn new skills, develop confidence and to grow as individuals. We provide weekly meetings. chances to go away camping and trying new activities. They learn many skills which are beneficial to life and will help them as they grow up. The range of activities range from crafts, life skills and adventurous activities. The guides work closely with all sections which cater for girls aged 7-25. We provide a safe and stimulating environment for them to learn, discover and grow. We encourage the girls to try new things and to work together. As leaders we volunteer our free time to be able to deliver an informative and exciting programme.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This will help the community in a number of ways as it will allow the guides to grow in confidence and be able to take the skills they've learnt and use them in the community such as leadership and teamwork. Guiding is a big part of the local community and is open to all girls in the community by having more kit we will be able to take more away and watch then develop and grow in confidence.
