Funds will go towards desperately needed refurbishment works to our scout hut that will secure the future of our group.
About this cause
We are a local Scout Group serving Aberfeldy and the surrounding districts, some of which are extremely rural so attending the Group offers core socialisation alongside new experiences. Our age group ranges from 6 years old to 14 years old with our Scouts being able to access Explorers in the District. We have both boys and girls in the Group. Our objectives are to offer a balanced scouting programme throughout Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. To offer new experiences and extend their current skills and abilities.
How this cause brings people in the community together
“We are so grateful to have been chosen for the Local Community Fund. We love our Scout Hut but it’s really in need of a lot of work to keep it fit for all our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to use for many years to come. All the money raised will be dedicated to the upgrade and repair of our Hut and we would be delighted if you would come along and see it when it is finished! Thank you for your support.”
