About this cause

Dalston Recreation Association is run by a small, dedicated Committee. We provide recreation facilities in Dalston which are used by the whole Parish and surrounding area. This consists of a very popular play area and a football pitched which is used by two senior football teams in a Sunday league and junior football training 6 days a week. We are the parent body of Dalston Bowling Club and Dalston Tennis Club, both of which are run by their own committees and have representatives on our Committee. We all all situated on the same site. Dalston Rec Ass also holds an annual Bonfire and firework Party and an annual Gala Day on the first Sunday in August, always a very popular day out! We enjoy taking part in other Village activities, Dalston Festival being the main one. ( dalston.org.uk)
