Social Inclusion
We want to upgrade kitchen to enable us to have more social days where senior citizens come together for something to eat and a chat.
About this cause
We are a voluntary management committee who attend to the welfare of the senior citizens in the community by organising outings, theatre visits, Christmas lunch and soup and sweets throughout the year. We also tend to the upkeep of the hall by keeping it maintained to a high standard.
How this cause brings people in the community together
With a new kitchen we will have better facilities for all in the community to use the hall for birthday parties and functions. At the moment we are limited as to what can be done in the kitchen as we only have a gas hob and a hot oven but a new cooker will allow more fresh food to be made.
