We need money to purchase new kitchen equipment, including a cooker, microwave, fridges, cutlery, crockery and utensils.
About this cause
Downagate is a local community centre for the villagers of Warwick Bridge, Little Corby and Corby Hill we are a centre for various groups i.e toddlers, baby classes, WI, Gardening Club, Local History, we also have sports facilities for several groups for children and adults. We need to get the Community centre back up and running after it was devasted with the floods in December 2015 and we are making alterations so hopefully the centre wont flood again. We are making sports changing facilities downstairs and the main hall which the user groups will hold there groups will be upstairs.
How this cause brings people in the community together
Most user groups use the kitchen aswell as the main hall so kitchen equipment is a main part of the community centre
