We want to buy resources to take Rainbows on trips out and make every week exciting.
About this cause
As a Rainbow unit we work with girls aged 5-7 from the Easington area offering them a safe space for messy play, team work, games, crafts and adventures. The leadership team goes from 14 to 65 years young giving their time freely to give the girls the unique experience that Rainbows has to offer from singing silly songs to getting covered in glitter to climbing to spending time with animals every week is different and no two groups of Rainbows are the same. We also join in with Division events meeting up with all the Rainbows from East Durham. We aim that every girl who join us leaves with happy memories and a bit more kindness in their heart.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This groups give young girls a place that is just for them and gives them belonging for their whole life as well as teaching life lessons such as respect for others and things, team work and the value of community.
