About this cause

We help and assist the older people in our community .We run weekly social lunch clubs at three halls in the local area where members are picked up at their homes by our minibuses taken to the venue and returned home .The minibuses also take members ,who tend not to be too mobile on outings to garden centre, retail outlets and the coast.We also have an advice centre run from our office and have a weekly presence at the local health centre. We need to recruit more volunteers to fund raise as we received no financial help from the local authority and rely on local churches and organisations for financial help.We hope to start a befriending scheme once the essential training has been completed ,compliance details agreed and literature designed and printed
