We want to buy a range of good quality outdoor garden games to be used at family/social events in the grounds of Ceddesfeld Hall.
About this cause
SCA runs Ceddesfeld Hall, which is run by volunteers for the community. It has been running since 1972. It has an executive committee of 15 members who assist in the running of community events, lettings, clubs/groups/societies, which cater for all ages and which reflect the interests and popular pastimes of the local community. SCA are keen to extend and improve facilities and organise affordable/free events for young families and children which will provide an opportunity to become involved, improve social interaction and community cohesion.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It will provide very low cost/free opportunity for young children ( and their families) to socialise and interact. It will improve young children's health and well being, language and communication skills, thinking/problem solving skills, social interaction and community cohesion as well as provide an opportunity for parents to meet, develop friendships and become involved in community life.
