About this cause
The team is a voluntary organisation whose objective is to save lives and alleviate distress, primarily in upland and mountain areas without cost or obligation. The team also helps the emergency services with search and rescue activities in areas and conditions where they may not have adequate resources, experience or where our specialist skills are required.
How this cause brings people in the community together
By providing the necessary space to allow the team to serve the local community and beyond in its continuing role as an efficient and respected member of the Emergency Services. Available to respond in any conditions at any time of the day or night, 365 days a year.
