We would like to enhance our sensory room with new equipment such as an LED musical touch wall, interactive infinity tunnel and projector.
About this cause
We aim to provide high quality care and education for children below statutory school age, work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop, add to the life and well-being of the local community and offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity. We provide for the needs of each child through stimulating play activities in a safe and caring environment. We help children to respect and enjoy the company of others and create habits of listening, sharing, concentration and pride in their achievements. Our mission is to: • make our pre-school accessible to children and families from all sections of the local community. • be committed to practicing using the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and ‘learning through play’.
How this cause brings people in the community together
This project will enhance the lives of children with additional needs & their families in the Billericay area. Buttsbury Infant school regularly utilise the room for some of their children and our local children’s centre can refer families that attend their additional needs drop ins. We believe by assessing our children earlier it will lead to getting the right support for our families.
