About this cause

The Village hall ,opened in 1957,provides a meeting place for families and friends in the Trimdon area. The aim is to improve the quality of life in the community,providing a focal point for the delivery of a wide range of educational,recreational and leisure activities. Developing new activities which are inclusive,aid learning,personal development and social cohesion. They include a coffee morning,parent and toddlers group,craft and chat group, a Foodbank, Street dance group, Slimming World sessions, CAB Sessions, 2 dog clubs,over 60s group,an art class ,a drama group and a Kurling club. Walking & Gentle exercise groups are also based at the hall and a Sunday dance class. About 300 people use the hall every week.

How this cause brings people in the community together

Children will have somewhere to go and things to do. Parents will have peace of mind and hopefully the community will benefit from less anti social behaviour. Its an invaluable opportunity for kids to socialise and enjoy life. To become good citizens.
