Argyll & Bute Youth Forum
Young People
We wish to offer training and trips to a plethora of young people who have multiple barriers to engagement.
About this cause
Argyll and Bute Youth Forum brings young people together from across the area to enable them to work together and effect change in specific areas which affect them; to seek young people’s views and involve them in decision making. Currently the Youth Forum is promoting Participatory Budgeting and running training programmes, training Young Leaders and supporting members to be involved in the Local Licensing Forum and supporting the Scottish Youth parliament. We are promoting the 'GIVE' project where young people volunteer to help in the local community and for this they receive a free trip to an activity for example, go karting or a visit to the trampoline park or Tree Zone. We offer training programmes to give young people a better start in the employment market.
