Labrador Retriever Rescue Scotland SCIO
Other
We need to pay for vet bills and kennelling to help more labrador retrievers in Scotland.
About this cause
Rehabilitate, rescue and rehome Labradors. Prevent rehomings by giving training and support. Educating the public on feeding, health, behaviour and training of Labrador Retrievers. Helping people who's circumstances have sadly changed and rehoming their labrador for them. Helping Labradors who have been abandoned and or have been abused physically and mentally. This involves long rehabilitation. Paying for food and all Veterinary care for assisted labradors from the very young to very senior in long term foster care who can never be rehomed due to their costly health problems. There are 28 in long term care. Paying for kennelling and behaviour sessions for abused labradors in order to make them rehomeable. There are 10 in kennels at present. To help as many labradors as possible.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It not only helps labradors but also people who find themselves suddenly for various reasons unable to keep their dogs. We rehome them. In some cases we prevent the rehomings by providing training. In both cases people are being helped.
