About this cause

Autism Rocks (Fife) is a not for profit organisation who provide help, support and advice to over 1300 families from Fife and beyond. We opened the first of its kind support and resource centre in January of 2016 called Kaleidoscope and have recently opened our new Aurora Sensory Garden. We provide a drop in session from 10 till 2 on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for families, parents and carers to pop in. We have a teen and adult social group on a Friday evening from 6pm till 8pm. We have our after school club every other Thursday, family days every Saturday and monthly pool parties. We support all ages on the spectrum, their families. We provide a safe secure non judgmental place for them to come where they can just be themselves. Since opening we have had over 3400 visitors.

How this cause brings people in the community together

The community would benefit from having our group members out there, in employment and also having the confidence to form friendships. improving social interaction is a massive achievement and one which could change so many lives.
