About this cause
The charity’s objective is to relieve poverty by providing assistance to those in housing need, so to help prevent and reduce homelessness. We do this in four key areas: Rough Sleeper support, Housing Advice & Support, Resettlement and Private Renting Support - helping people to set up and maintain tenancies. We work with people on low incomes, rough sleepers, ex-Services personnel, ex-offenders, refugees and others who find themselves needing our help. We work with and support people with all sorts of issues; but our specialism is, and remains, housing and homelessness.
How this cause brings people in the community together
It will support vulnerable homeless people as they set up home in the community, ensuring that they have the basic comforts and giving them a stake in society. It will help raise their self esteem and support them to live independently. We believe that ending or even reducing homelessness is good for everyone, contributing to a better, more stable and civilised society.
