We need funds to help disadvantaged families turn a house into a home. Money will be spent on van hire and funding for white goods.
About this cause
Alice is a charity supporting families in the Stoke-on-Trent area with the right things, at the right time, in the right way, when no one else can. Family life can be such a struggle these days and we know that many local families are struggling through it alone, going without some of life's basic needs and unable to provide the safe and loving environment they want for their family. Through the projects we run the support we provide, Alice makes a difference to the lives of local families when they are in need. All projects are underpinned by Family support team who do follow up home visits to families this support moves the family towards independence and resilience resulting in them actively engaging with their community
How this cause brings people in the community together
Supports families with emotional and practical support, family life can be a struggle and going through it alone can be really hard with of life's basic needs. Budgeting, Child behaviour all come at a cost to parents health worries. The family support workers encourage families back into education that will lead into work, home visits ,independence and resilience resulting in community engagement
